AAFA ANTIQUE EARLY GENERAL COUNTRY STORE 21 DRAWER SEED BEAN COUNTER ADVERTISING
This cabinet measures 96" long x 25.5" wide x 36.75" inches high is a beautiful seed counter in very good condition.
Each drawer measures inside: 11.25" W x 8.5 H x 20.5" L (to the beans).
Up for sale is this
wonderful late 1800's or early 1900's solid oak general store counter seed / bean / sales counter cabinet.  It's very beautiful and in great shape for its age!  It has 21 (7 long x 3 high) glass front drawers with little scrolled metal metal handles on the back.
It is in very good condition and comes with the beans, candy and pretzels pictured. This would a be wonderful sales counter for a coffee shop or any store displaying inventory in front glass panels. The glass looks like wavy glass to us!  It would also make a nice kitchen island with plenty of storage!
The cabinet is in very good shape but does have a few issues. The drawers are clean inside as you can see in the pictures with the exception of one or two.  The candy drawer apparently had some melted candy and it leaked under the divider and in to the drawer as you can see in the pictures. Clearly it was used, but it is relatively clean.  Also, there are some nicks, dings, chips and scratches here and there as you'd expect from an item of this age.  The top has some light darker marks and scratches, also shown in the pictures.
One one end there are two nice advertising signs.  One says:
Figure with us and you save money
And the other says:
Mail orders promptly attended to
A couple of the drawers have some slight wood damage. One drawer appears to have split and been glued but overall it's still in good shape. Along the base there are marks along the toe kick and some splintered wood on the bottom at the ends.  This is probably from trying to move it around.
The cabinet is not on wheels and sits on the floor.  W
e recommend a towel or moving blanket under the end when you try to move it, or two dollies.
This is all what you'd expect from a counter that was well used over the years.
